Extra Time: Candidates eligible for a scribe receive an additional 5 minutes, extending the test duration to 20 minutes.

Typing Test for LDC/JSA Posts:

Medium: Can be taken in either Hindi or English, as chosen by the candidate in their application.

Speed Requirement: 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) for English and 30 w.p.m. for Hindi, corresponding to 10,500 and 9,000 key depressions per hour, respectively.

Duration: The test lasts for 10 minutes, with an extra 5 minutes for candidates eligible for a scribe, totaling 15 minutes.

Special Provisions: VH candidates opting for a scribe will have the passage read out to them. Persons with disabilities who are permanently unfit for the test may be exempted with proper medical certification and prior approval from the Commission.
